Our story

Avocado Trade Hub was born at the intersection of two worlds. As founder Eric Ndungu, I grew up in Kenya’s farmlands, hauling fresh produce to markets and witnessing firsthand how broken supply chains shortchange both farmers and buyers. This early experience revealed a fundamental market gap: the lack of trusted connections between quality producers and international markets.

My journey took me through pursuing a Bachelors degree in Nursing at the University of Nairobi and into leadership roles within the UK’s National Health Service. While seemingly distant from agriculture, this healthcare experience instilled the principles that now define our business: rigorous verification, quality assurance, and trust-building across borders.

Avocado Trade Hub leverages this unique background to serve as a verification-based bridge between certified Kenyan exporters and trusted UK/EU importers. We apply healthcare-level discipline to agricultural trade, ensuring quality, facilitating documentation, and building lasting trade relationships.
